Spell-work & Spirituality

I have been asked this question so many times, “How does spell-work affect you spiritually?”

The answer is really quite simple, spell-work IS a physical act of spirituality.

It is an opportunity for us to make a connection with the Goddess, God, All-That-Is, whatever you want to call it.

Through performing spell-work we have the opportunity to tell the Goddess what it is that we desire at this time. We can ask Her for protection, healing, more love entering our lives and even a chat with our own Personal Angel.

All About Spell-work

The word “spell-work” is frightening to most people, they conjure up visions of cat’s tongues and lizard’s intestines being brewed in a large cauldron. That may have been the way spell-work was performed before the computer age but it isn’t anymore! (in most households anyway).

Spells can now be purchased from a reputable source, I get mine from a High Priestess Crone who knows her stuff. She does all the work in creating the spells so when they come to me they are in tidy little vials of sweet smelling oils complete with detailed instructions on how to use them. No fuss, no mess, just the magic.

How Spell-work Can Empower Affirmations

Magic spells amplify your affirmations and meditations. You light a candle, anoint yourself with spell oil and meditate for 10 minutes. For people who don’t meditate yet, no problem, just stare at the candle allowing your mind to focus on your intention with this spell. You can say affirmations out loud during this spell-work to assist yourself in staying focused on your intention. The magic is already in the spell oil and the power is within YOU.

It is your intention that invokes the spell’s magic.

There are basic spells that can be adapted for whatever desire or need you may have. For example, there’s a banishing spell that can be used to get rid of the ex-boyfriend or to stop your beloved cat from peeing on the carpet, all in one little bottle.

There are spells to increase or decrease your passion, and spells to promote healing a broken heart. The most important point to remember is that every action comes back to us three times fold so never wish negativity on anyone including yourself because it’ll come back and bite you in the end.

Making a Conscious Connection

When I perform spell-work I feel a great connection to my life. I feel empowered because I know that I am consciously creating my own reality rather than just going along for the ride. I am taking the time to sit down for 10 – 20 minutes and spend time with the most important person in my reality, me. I am the only person that I have to live with until I die (and beyond) so I consider myself a very important participant in my life.

I speak out loud stating what it is that I desire from this spell-work and through this action, I create a link with the Goddess, a direct link from my lips to Her ear. Then the magic and providence takes over. Things begin to happen that would not otherwise have happened. An opportunity that I may have ignored or missed is noticed and more prosperity is brought into my life. Negativity magically evaporates.

Karma & Living Your Life

Now don’t think that if you perform spell-work, nothing bad will happen to you ever again. Not so, we all still have karma to burn and living to do. But for example, with the assistance of a protection spell your husband may only be mildly hurt in that devastating car accident instead of critically injured and with the assistance of a serenity and healing spell combination your P.M.S. may be only mild discomfort rather than. . . .well, we all know what else it can be.

We don’t stop life from happening by performing spell-work, we just have a lot more opportunity to make life better and sometimes gentler too.

Everyone that I know who has chosen to try performing spell-work (no, you don’t have to be pagan or wiccan), has not regretted doing so. They have all come back to me with stories of how their lives have become fuller, happier and more prosperous. In the years that I have been selling Maggie’s Magic Spells I have never had a dissatisfied customer that I know of.

So, in answer to the question, “Is spell-work spiritual?” I hope that you can see why my answer is an unequivocal, YES.
