My Experience with the Raindrop Technique

By Editor 1 Comment

Have you ever had a concussion?

What about a whiplash?

Do you know what it feels like?

I was unfortunate enough to have both within three months of each other! It seemed that I was just getting over the first accident and beginning to feel that I could return to an active life again when, bang, the next crash occurred! It was most disconcerting, especially since I wasn’t even able to pick up a one pound weight (1/2kg).

Needless to say, it created many challenges for me. I had to downsize my purse and try to carry all the important items that I used to carry in a larger one. This was no easy feat! However, I managed to stuff almost everything into my new smaller bag -well, almost everything.

Outwardly, I looked O.K.and people expected me to perform as usual. But I began to experience how disabling such an event can be!It was no picnic!

Coping with Trauma

My eight year old had to do the vacuuming, help with the cooking and all the other little jobs we take for granted in running a home because lifting anything caused more pain to my head, neck and spine.

Of course, she was not too pleased to have her time with the other children lessened and now I had to deal with a few unhappy feelings besides my own feelings of frustration that I couldn’t carry on at my normal pace.

The other side of it was one of being pretty well helpless. This trauma, was not something I would wish on anyone

If you’ve been there, you know how it slows one down and totally affects one’s whole lifestyle as well as family relationships.

Added to these major changes was the fact that whenever I was in a car, I now had a fear that I would get injured more easily, especially to the head and that that could lead to further complications.

This meant that I was continuously on my guard to prevent such occurrences, because now, even a slight bump to the head immediately threw my neck into spasm, put sever pressure on the bridge of my nose and torqued my spine.

Needless to say, I did repeatedly hurt my head and neck and suffered from depression, which only acerbated everything. It seemed that I was forever needing to get cranial sacral and chiropractic adjustments.

Simultaneously, I was informed by the insurance company that I would have to undergo active physiotherapy, so as to strengthen all the various muscles. This meant three times a week going to the physiotherapist’s and yet attempting to maintain as close to a normal lifestyle as possible.

It was all very stressful!

Four Years Later – The Raindrop Technique

This whole process of pain, stress and trauma continued over a four year period.

I was afraid to fly in airplanes because of the pressure to the brain.

Even going up mountains while driving in a car caused pressure on the brain. It definitely curtailed my freedom to do and go where I wished.

The good news, however, is that four years later I learned of an alternative method of spinal help, called the “Raindrop Technique!”

After my very first experience, I knew that I would never be concerned again about reinjuring my head, neck or spine because the very first Raindrop took and realigned my spine as well as the skull bones: took the pressure off my nose and brain, balanced out my nervous system, killed parasites lying dormant along the spine and in the spinal fluid, realigned the vertebrae (without manipulation or deep tissue massage) and set me on a healing path, which has continued right up to today.

What is it? How is it done?

Raindrop is a mild and relaxing yet highly effective technique which uses Vita Flex to stimulate the nerve points along with the application of therapeutic grade essential oils.

From 10 – 15 different essential oils are applied in a very specific way to the feet, spine and legs.

The oils are dropped like little drops of rain from about six inches above the body, hence the name Raindrop Technique.

Dr. Gary Young N.D

You may be asking: Who Developed it? Why was it developed?

Raindrop Technique was designed by Dr. Gary Young N.D. to bring the body into structural and electrical balance.

Dr. Youn , who was paralyzed, for 11 1/2 years, from a logging injury and who suffered excruciating pain for 27 years, knew first hand how the quality of life changes and incapacitates an individual.

Consequently, he wanted to help others and has done so with the Raindrop Technique. He writes, “I have never seen the treatment hurt, and have been surprised by many unexpected beneficial results.”

Raindrop Technique takes 1 to 1-1/2 hours to complete.

The oils will continue to work in the body for about 5 to 7 days after the treatment, with continued realignment taking place during this time.

The results of Raindrop Technique may last up to 5 months and are cumulative.
